Junior Auxiliary of Cleveland, TN members enjoyed a beautiful fall day volunteering at The River Maze during opening weekend for the annual Spookley the Square Pumpkin celebration.
JA members spent the afternoon helping children and families participate in a variety of fun, hands-on activities. Volunteers assisted with pumpkin painting, arts and crafts, and story time, creating a welcoming and engaging experience for visitors of all ages.
This year's event also featured a special Dolly Parton theme, celebrating the beloved East Tennessee icon. Guests enjoyed hearing Dolly's music throughout the day while participating in themed activities. Junior Auxiliary volunteers led a "Coat of Many Colors" craft inspired by Dolly's famous song, as well as a Spookley the Square Pumpkin popsicle stick craft that encouraged creativity and imagination.
While every activity was a hit, pumpkin painting quickly became the crowd favorite. Children eagerly selected and decorated pumpkins, showcasing their artistic talents and taking home special creations to remember the day.
The River Maze provided the perfect backdrop for a day filled with laughter, creativity, and community spirit. Families enjoyed the beautiful weather, outdoor activities, and festive fall atmosphere, making it a memorable experience for everyone involved.
Junior Auxiliary of Cleveland, TN is grateful for opportunities like this to serve our community and support family-friendly events that bring people together.
