The National Association of Junior Auxiliaries (NAJA), headquartered in Greenville, Mississippi, offers an annual Graduate Scholarship Program to support individuals pursuing careers that serve children and youth.

These scholarships are awarded to applicants who are pursuing graduate-level studies for one academic year in fields that directly address the needs of children and families. Eligible fields of study include, but are not limited to:

• Counseling
• Psychology
• Mental development
• Services for individuals who are hearing impaired
• Gifted and talented education

Applicants must be U.S. citizens and permanent residents of a state with an active Junior Auxiliary chapter. Eligible states include Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, and Tennessee.

Scholarship recipients typically work—or plan to work—directly with children and youth. Established in 1962, the NAJA Scholarship Program has awarded more than $1.4 million in graduate scholarships to date.

Applications and instructions are available annually from September 1 through February 1 and must be accessed through the NAJA website.
